Jake and Tom Conquer the World

Jake and Tom decided to take the week off to celebrate the holidays with their friends and families, so unfortunately, their review of "Rise of Skywalker" will have to be held off until next Sunday.

But rather than not releasing an episode, they decided to put out one of their "reserve" shows, this one featuring their review of Netflix's series "Living With Yourself", starring Paul Rudd!

Listen in as the guys break down the plot of the show, as well as the subtext they only caught after the series's end.

Jake and Tom start out this episode by reviewing some of the best string of trailers they've seen in recent months (Black Widow, Wonder Woman: 1984 & Ghostbusters: Afterlife) before taking a deep dive into one of their favorite subjects ever - The Muppets!

Inspired by Twitter user @canonlawyered and their pals over at the "Gravity Beard" podcast, the guys discuss what they'd wanna see in a movie they never knew they wanted.  So listen in as they put together a cast of swashbucklers, damsels in distress and singing poultry!

The holiday season is once again upon us, and Jake and Tom are here to help ring in all of your festive revelries!  Listen in as they and their good friend Matt talk about how they spent their Turkey Day, as well as sharing a couple of their "Thanksgiving Mishap" stories with their friends & fellow podcasts over at "Gravity Beard

After that, they sit down to discuss a movie that Tom's waited for for literally a decade, Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman".

Did it live up to Tom's expectations?  Was it too long?  Just how bad was the de-aging effects?  And most importantly, was this yet another horrible movie that Jake was pissed that he had to sit through?

And finally, the show wraps up by discussing Scorsese's controversial statements in regard to Marvel movies as they guys ask themselves if maybe he has a point...?

It's been a little over a year since Warner Brothers launched their superhero based streaming service, DC Universe.  And in that times, they've had plenty of ups ("Doom Patrol", "Swamp Thing"), as well as a few lows ("Titans" Season One, as well as the unceremonious cancellation of "Swamp Thing").

This week, they've launched their latest show, the very adults-only animated "Harley Quinn", featuring the voice talents of Kaley Cuocco, Alan Tudyk, Diedrich Bader, and many more?

Listen in as Jake and Tom give their spoiler-free review of the show's first episode, as well as what they think is in store for the service's future!
